Adrian Roman

November 25, 1950 — April 30, 2020

Adrian C. Roman passed away on April 30, 2020, in Tucson, Arizona. Roman C. Adrian, beloved as Companion, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa, and Friend. Roman was born to Roman, Sr. & Lydia Adrian in Phoenix, AZ on November 25, 1950. He attended school in Brownsville, TX, Thatcher, AZ, and Phoenix, AZ. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, CA. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He attended Central Arizona College where he earned his Associated of Arts Degree in Sociology and as an Emergency Medical Technician. He worked in different fields - optometry labs in Sierra Vista, AZ, as a painter for AK Painting, a janitor for Mt Turnbull Apache Market, and a janitor for Bylas OAC (Older Adult Center). Roman met his companion Reynelda in 2007, and they began a relationship. He took pleasure in reading, watching TV, watching his UFO movies, visiting friends Dusty Moses, Bear David Vigil, Wonder, and Manuel. Despite the fact that Roman had been ailing for some time now, there is some open joy in knowing that the unetched and intricate capacity of his journey is finished. With his starting from this world giving rise to a gaping void in the lives of his family and friends. We hold the comfort that he called upon us from God and we hope to see him again soon. He will be missed but lovingly committed to memory. He was a proud member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe Veteran's Association. He would participate in all of the events with his fellow comrades. Hoo-rah! my Marine... We love you Roman. He is survived by his companion Reynelda, his adopted grandkids Christian Henry, Godson Leon Henry, Jr., Carly Dosela, Caidance Clarkson, AJ Yazzie, numerous grandkids from Converse, TX, his daughter Sonia Cruz from Converse, TX, his brothers Robert Adrian and Rolando Adrian, both from Phoenix, AZ, his sister Andreanna Hawkins from Whiteriver, AZ, his sister Linda Palmer from Henderson, NV, his baby brother Angel Adrian from Safford, AZ, 3 grandchildren from Converse, TX Lauren Tovar, Sabrina Adrian, and Julia Snoozy, and 4 great-grandchildren also from Converse, TX. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 7th from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
