Anita Quinones

Anita Temple Quinones of Clifton passed away on November 16, 2021, at her home with her family near her side at the age of 97. Anita was born on May 15, 1924, in Clifton, Arizona to George B. Temple & Sabina Perez Temple and siblings Delores, Michael, and Ramona. Anita was a lifelong resident of Clifton. She attended Clifton Public Schools, and she married her high school sweetheart Fernando Quinones, and together they had four wonderful children, Fernando Jr., Hector, Margaret, and George. Anita was a loving wife and happy family homemaker. She was known and loved among the community. She also enjoyed working as a retail clerk, where she would mingle with the customers as they came in, making sure everyone left with a smile. Anita and her family enjoy going to the casino whenever they could. Whoever was heading to the city would always try to take her to the casino. Most of all Anita enjoyed spending as much quality time with her family. Anita loved life to the fullest making as many wonderful memories as she could. She is survived by her children: Fernando Quinones (Elizabeth), Hector Quinones (Irene), Margaret Perez, 15 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and eight Great Great Grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her loving husband Fernando and son George Gamez. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clifton, Arizona. A Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Clifton, Arizona.
