Anna Saucedo

March 25, 1928 — January 26, 2023

Anna Bailon Saucedo was born in Tyrone, New Mexico on March 25, 1928, to Jose G. Bailon and Josefa Cabrera. She completed 8 years of school. The completion of her education was interrupted by the need to care for her parents. Anna captured the heart of Live Saucedo and they married in Safford in 1948. She was married to her loving husband for 66 years. They began their family in the Morenci-Clifton area, and in 1961, built their home on Shannon Hill where they raised their 11 children. The family eventually grew to include 30 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, who are all her greatest source of pride and joy. Each child had the joy of Anna's special individual attention. Throughout her children's years of schooling, Anna was generous with her time and delicious cooking. Since she was not able to complete her schooling, it was extremely important to her that her children complete high school. She was dedicated to her children having every opportunity; so much so that she did not require assigned household chores. She did it all. It is clear in this family, that her passing leaves a huge void in all of our hearts. Anna is survived by her children Lynda Villescas; Levi Saucedo (Jennie); Debi Dunford (Edward); Patricia Larson (Roy); Libby Allen (Robert); Michael Saucedo; Julio Saucedo (Corrina); Marco Saucedo (Alex); Ana Triana (Jose). She was preceded in death by her beloved children Gabriel Saucedo (survived by his wife Toni) and Bernice Christilaw (survived by her husband Edwin) and her husband Live Q. Saucedo.
