Arkie Noline, a dedicated sawmill laborer and cherished member of the Bylas community, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on March 16, 1946, in Bylas, Arizona, Arkie exemplified a life of hard work, compassion, and unwavering support for his family and friends.
Attendee of Fort Thomas High School, Arkie's early years set the foundation for a lifetime of commitment to his job in the sawmill industry. He was known for his caring and selfless nature, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Arkie's personality shone brightly in his relationships, where he was a beacon of helpfulness and warmth.
In addition to his work, Arkie had a deep love for watching western movies and was an avid football fan, enjoying the camaraderie and excitement of the games.
Arkie leaves behind a loving family, including his daughter Josephine Noline; his sons, Arkie Noline, Jr., Curtis Cly, and Alvin Noline; as well as 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and strength.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ray Noline; his mother, Alice Dona; and three of his children: Gismo Noline, Mary-Alice Noline, and Alva Noline. Their memories will always be cherished by those who loved them, and their impact will forever resonate in the hearts of their family.
Services in honor of Arkie will be held at his residence in Bylas on October 17, 2025, with visitation from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The funeral service will take place the following day, October 18, 2025, at Lighthouse Assembly of God at 10:00 AM, followed by Arkie's burial at Black Point Cemetery at 12:00 PM.
Arkie Noline's life was a tapestry of love, hard work, and community spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
