Barbara Miller

Barbara Y. Miller Loving sister, aunt and friend, moved to her heavenly home September 20, 2001, after a 2 year battle with colon cancer. Born April 29, 1937 in Salt lake City, Utah to Alice S. Cook and Willis J. Miller. Her mother passed away when Barbara was seven. Her father married Loie V. Miner in 1947. Barbara spent 41 years with the Hogle Family Investment firm. She was a very kind, loving and generous lady who will be missed by all who knew her. She loved animals and traveling. Survived by her sister, Joyce (Willard) Bullock, Montana; brother, Craig (Donna) Miller, Taylorsville; stepsister, Jean Nielsen, West Valley City; 7 nieces and nephews; many caring friends and loyal companion, Rusty. She was preceded in death by her father and mothers. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville 4th Ward, 4310 South 3200 West. Friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Utah Heritage Hospice or Utah Hogle Zoo.
