Ben Russell

James Benton "Ben" Russell of Safford, quietly entered into rest on August 28, 2017 at his home with his family beside him. He was born on January 29, 1931 in Julian, California to Wade David Russell and Fern Conrad Russell. Ben is survived by his wife of 27 years, Clydene Russell, daughter Cathy Russell, son Clint Russell, step-daughters Jill Speer and Lori Reeves, step-sons Dennis Rogers and Greg Rogers and brother Dan Russell, Sr. A viewing for Ben will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel and then again on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. followed by the funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Safford LDS Stake Center with Bishop Craig Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery immediately following services.
