Brazie Goseyun, Jr

April 11, 1972 — August 20, 2025

Bylas, Arizona

In the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, on April 11, 1972, a light was born—Brazie Goseyun, Jr. A cherished son, a devoted father, a loving brother, and a trusted friend, Brazie’s journey through life was marked not only by his earnest dedication as a Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, but also by the warmth and joy he brought to everyone around him. He departed from this world on August 20, 2025, in Chandler, Arizona, leaving behind an indelible spirit and a legacy that will forever resonate.

Brazie's formative years began in Bylas, Arizona, where he first embraced the wonders of life and learned to dream big. He graduated from Ft. Thomas High School in 1990, his aspirations leading him to Eastern Arizona College, where he pursued a nursing degree from 2003 to 2006 with fierce determination, eventually earning that diploma he was so proud of. It was a testament to his unwavering spirit and his belief in the value of service—a value that would guide his path as he tended to the needs of those around him throughout his career.

A friendly and fun-loving soul, Brazie was adored by many. His personality radiated warmth that enveloped friends and family alike. His laughter echoed in the hearts of those fortunate enough to share time with him. In spite of life’s inevitable challenges, he always found reasons to smile, creating a tapestry of joy that others could not help but join.

Brazie's hobbies painted a vivid picture of his character. His love for horses and gardening was not just an interest but an extension of his nurturing spirit. He delighted in growing the biggest sunflowers that cast their golden glow across the landscape and cultivating pumpkins that brought endless joy to community children every Halloween. Each seed he planted was a reflection of his love and care—much like the heart he poured into his family.

He was a loving father to two daughters, Sonya and Kerry (Alexander McIntosh), who will carry the lessons, laughter, and love he bestowed upon them through the generations. As a brother to Keith, Bahe, and Tina, his connection with each of them was a bond forged in shared memories and unconditional support. His pride also swelled with the arrival of his grandchildren, whose lives he glimmered into with the wisdom and kindness unique to him.

Though Brazie's physical presence has left us, he is survived by a tapestry of love woven through cherished relationships, memories nestled deeply in the hearts of his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evangeline Kenton Goseyun, and his father, Brazie Dan Goseyun, Sr., whose spirits will welcome him back with open arms.

As we gather to celebrate Brazie's vibrant life and contributions to the world around him, we invite friends and family to join in a visitation at the Goseyun residence in Bylas on August 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A heartfelt funeral service will take place at the Lighthouse Assembly of God the following day, August 30, at 10:00 AM, followed by a burial ceremony at Black Point Cemetery, where he will rest in peace, forever remembered by the love he shared and the light he spread.

In honoring Brazie Goseyun, Jr., may we cherish each moment, embracing laughter and nurturing love, just as he did, keeping his spirit alive in our hearts and actions.
