As the Office Manager at the Copper Era Newspaper, Carla brought her caring, compassionate, and loving nature into the workplace, making an impact on all who crossed her path. Her colleagues and friends knew her not just for her dedication to her career but for her ability to uplift those around her with a warm smile and kind words.
Carla’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith and trust in the Lord. She embraced each day with gratitude and a deep sense of love for her family and friends. One of her favorite sayings, “God bless you,” often served as a reminder of the joy she found in spreading kindness to others.
On July 18, 2001, Carla proudly married the love of her life, Daniel "Dan" Abril, in a ceremony that mirrored her vibrant spirit and loving heart. Together, they cultivated a beautiful home filled with laughter and warmth. Carla and Dan’s love story was one that inspired all who knew them; their bond, rooted in faith and trust, was reason enough for celebration.
Carla’s proudest accomplishments extend to her role as a devoted mother to her children: Adriene, Joey, Zachary, Dru, Tanner, and Barry. To each of them, she was more than just a mother; she was a source of unconditional love and wisdom. Her legacy continues with her 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life and whom she adored deeply.
