Carolyn Hanna

Carolyn Bell Hanna Carolyn Bell Hanna was born to Cecil Albert Bell and Gema Palmer on October 7, 1941 in Pima Arizona. She had just turned 79 years old. Carolyn was the oldest of 3 girls. She grew up in Safford and attended school there. She graduated in 1959 from Safford High School. Carolyn married her sweetheart Clyde Woodrow Hanna October 19, 1959. After the wedding, they moved to Hawaii where Clyde was stationed in the US Navy. While they were in Hawaii, their oldest son was born, Kevin Hanna. After the Navy enlistment time was over, they moved to Morenci, AZ, where their second son Shawn Hanna was born. They lived in Morenci, AZ, Globe AZ, Colorado, Utah and then moved back to Safford. Carolyn was a cute little feisty lady who loved life. She was a stranger to no one and was loved by many. She cared about people and will be missed. Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Clyde on January 12, 2019. Also, her mother, Gema who passed in 1990 and Woody Gordon, her step father who passed 1997. Her father Cecil Bell passed away in 1987 in Eric, Oklahoma. She is survived by her sons, Kevin Hanna of Duncan and Shawn Hanna of Maricopa, AZ. She is also survived by her two sisters Eva Lee (Brooks) Nuttall of Safford and Susan (Paul) Cluff of Sandy, Utah. She also had 4 grandchildren with an additional 25 added when Sandy and Kevin combined their families and 3 great great grandchildren. Due to her request, there will be no viewing or services.
