Chad Steven Williams

December 29, 1987 — April 15, 2026

Thatcher, Arizona

Chad Steven Williams, known for his indomitable spirit and sharp wit, passed away on April 15, 2026, unexpectedly of natural causes, in Thatcher, Arizona. Born on December 29, 1987, in Mesa, Arizona, Chad lived a life full of purpose and joy, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Chad was affectionately nicknamed “Bone Saw,” a testament to his nickname’s origin from his own creative spirit. He embraced life with a radiant energy and a unique sense of humor that could light up any room. Those who shared memories with him recall his witty remarks and quick thinking, traits that defined his personality and endeared him to friends and family alike. A favorite saying of his was “Keep on Keeping on!”, reflecting a resilience and loyalty that shaped his interactions and outlook on life.

His educational journey began at Thatcher High School, where he graduated in 2006, followed by further studies at Eastern Arizona College, completed in 2013. Professionally, Chad found his calling in carpentry, a craft that allowed him to express both skill and creativity. Yet, his proudest accomplishments were not confined to his career; above all, he treasured his role as an uncle, finding his greatest joys in the laughter and love shared with his nieces and nephews.

Chad’s adventurous spirit was playfully captured in his love for pomskies, which he called his greatest adventure. Beyond his professional and family life, he found happiness in simple pleasures—thrifting, nurturing his garden, enjoying movies, and exploring the tranquility of nature.

Chad’s life was deeply intertwined with a loving network of family. He is survived by his devoted parents, Mark and Lisa Williams, who carried his spirit close to their hearts. His brothers, Landon (Sydnee) Williams and Weston Williams, along with his sister, Camille (Max) Shepherd, stand as living testaments to his legacy. His affection and care extended warmly to his many cherished nieces and nephews: Stone Williams, Greer Williams, Suede Williams, Livvy Shepherd, Drew Shepherd, and Jones Shepherd. They remain a living mosaic of the joy and love Chad poured into his family. Along with his cherished dog Rudy.

He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alan and Sharon Polley, his paternal grandparents, Gene and JoAnne Williams, and his beloved dog Catahoula Brandi, whose memories thrived alongside his.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on April 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Thatcher Stake Center, located at 4050 West 2nd Street, Thatcher, Arizona, 85552.
