Connie Elliston, born on May 1, 1938, in Rhineland, Texas, has left a legacy of love and cherished memories behind. She peacefully passed from this world on April 26, 2025, in Safford, Arizona, with her devoted family by her side.
A proud high school graduate from Brownfield, Texas, Connie dedicated 13 years of her career to Impressive Labels, where she was known not just for her unwavering work ethic but also for her kind and approachable nature. Connie had a remarkable ability to light up any room, leaving an indelible mark on those she encountered.
She met the love of her life, Bob Elliston, and they joyfully married in 1958. Together, they built a loving family, cherishing every moment spent together. Connie's family was her heart, and nothing brought her more happiness than her cherished moments with them. She was particularly proud of her daughter, Mickie Bennett, her grandson, Clay Bennett, and her great-grandson, Jordyn Bennett. Each was a shining star in her life, bringing joy and fulfillment to her days.
In addition to her family, Connie had a zest for life that extended to her hobbies and interests. She found great joy in crossword puzzles and reading, often reflecting her sharp mind and love for learning. Yet, it was her family that remained her most important treasure, and she consistently placed them at the center of her universe.
Connie was preceded in death by a loving circle of family: her devoted husband Bob, their son Gregory, her parents, Conrad Anton Kuehler and Helen Mary Bruggeman, and several beloved siblings, including Gwen Martin, Evelyn Bishop, Janette Albas, Marilyn Hill, and Glenda Ellis along with their spouses. This deep connection to her family shaped the person she was—warm, nurturing, and steadfast.
Connie is survived by her daughter Mickie, her grandson Clay, and her great-grandson Jordyn, as well as her sister Sheri Curry and brother-in-law Clancy Martin. Their lives are richer for having known her, and they will carry her spirit with them forever.
Remembering Connie is to celebrate a life well-lived, characterized by love, joy, and family. While she may have departed from this world, her legacy will continue to thrive in the hearts of those she touched, reminding us all of the importance of family and the profound connections that define our lives.
