Damaris Elizabeth Hoisington, M.D. of Safford unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on October 15, 2020, in Tucson, AZ after a brief illness. Damaris was born on July 24, 1971, in Tepic, Mexico the 6th of seven children born to Silvestre Tapia & Francisca Cabello Tapia: Joel, Judy, Silvia, Mireya, Gloria, and Mayra . "Cory" Hoisington in the Salt Lake Temple for time and all eternity. The couple was later blessed with two children, Sylvia Francesca "Francis" and Samuel Thomas "Sam". She was overjoyed at finally completing her medical schooling and looking forward to doing her clinical's so that she could begin practicing medicine as a Doctor. She never met a stranger, was so full of love for everyone, and was a true disciple of Christ. She was selfless, loving, and Christlike. One of her favorite sayings was "Well done my good and faithful servant", and she truly tried to live her life that way.
