Delfina B. Saenz or “Fina” as she was known by all, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Prescott Valley, AZ at the age of 94. 

Fina was born in Safford, AZ on April 29, 1932 to Alejandro & Mary Bertoldo.  She grew up and attended school in Safford and worked at the Modern Dress Shop when she was a young adult until her marriage in 1954 to Remy Saenz. 

In her younger days Fina enjoyed crocheting, baking, socializing with friends, dancing, and spending time with family.  She will be deeply missed. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Remy and her son Patrick as well as her parents and 4 siblings.

She is survived by two daughters, Becky Taylor of Mesa, AZ and Diana (Brian) Garrity of Prescott Valley, AZ; two granddaughters, Laura (Josh) Ledbetter of Mesa, AZ and Jennifer (Zach) Young of Mancos, CO; one grandson Marc Taylor of Chandler, AZ; two great granddaughters, Lilah & Everly Young of Mancos, CO; and one sister Margie Bertoldo of Mesa, AZ.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Sacred Heart Church in Clifton, AZ beginning with Rosary at 9:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. officiated by Rev. Nathaniel Mma.  Final resting place will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date.
