Dinitra Duane Wesley, affectionately known as Nitra, was born on August 24, 1994, in Safford, Arizona. She brought joy and laughter into the lives of everyone she met until her untimely passing on January 21, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona. A beloved soul, Nitra's legacy will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, and infectious sense of humor.
Nitra was raised in a loving environment that fostered her passions and shaped her vibrant personality. She was a proud graduate of Mt. Turnball Academy, where her laughter and warmth left an indelible mark on her peers and teachers alike. Throughout her life, Nitra delighted in various hobbies such as painting, baking, cooking, gaming, drawing, singing, and immersing herself in the realms of music and anime, all of which showcased her creativity and zest for life.
Her favorite saying, "if you need any help, I can help," perfectly encapsulated her caring spirit. Nitra was always ready to lend a hand or share a moment of joy, making her home a welcoming place filled with laughter and love. Known for her storytelling and knack for making jokes, she had a unique ability to create unforgettable moments with family and friends.
On October 30, 2021, Nitra experienced one of her proudest accomplishments when she married the love of her life, Josiah Wesley, in Bylas, Arizona. Their union was a testament to true companionship and infectious happiness. Nitra also cherished her role as an aunt, where her bond with her nieces and nephews was a source of immense pride and joy.
Nitra leaves behind her treasured family members: her loving husband Josiah Wesley; her devoted mother Diane Duane; her supportive step-father Alfonso Thorne Jr.; her father Nathaniel Hinton; her sister Tamara Duane; her nephew Colter Titla; her niece Olive Titla; and her uncles Mondale Duane, Cleo Duane, McArthur Duane Jr., and James Duane. She is also survived by her cousins Montrell, Cloe, Feather, Cadence, and Uriah, all of whom will miss her dearly.
Preceding her in death are her beloved grandparents, McArthur Duane Sr. and Colleen Starr Duane, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms, eager to hear her stories.
As we gather to honor Nitra's life, we will reflect on the beautiful memories she created, the love she shared, and the light she brought into our lives. A Viewing will be held on January 30, 2026, from 5:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at Duane's Residence in Bylas, Arizona.
Though she may no longer be with us in body, Nitra's spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of her family and friends. We carry forward her legacy of kindness, humor, and love, cherishing the memories that will always bring us comfort in our time of grief.
