Domingo Basaldua

Domingo Basaldua, Jr. suddenly passed away on October 22, 2025 at his home in Safford after a long illness.

He was born August 2, 1957 in Long Beach, CA to parents Domingo Valaderas & Beatriz Parga Basaldua. Domingo graduated from St Anthony’s High School in 1975. He was a life long trucker and owned his own company.

Surviving him are his sons Christopher (Amanda) Basaldua of Marana, AZ, Andrew Basaldua of Tucson, AZ, his brother Gilbert Basaldua of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by his grandchildren Cameron, Claire & Caleb Basaldua of Marana, AZ and his long time companion Debby Bowman of Safford, AZ and adopted family Al & Judy (Bowman) Hernandez & Persephone Rose Hernandez of Safford, AZ who loved him as dad and grandpa.

Preceding him in death beside his parents Domingo Valaderas & Beatriz Parga Basaldua, and his brother Joe Parga.

Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Fresenius Kidney Care in his name.
