He was born on October 25, 1968, in Mesa, Arizona, to his loving parents, Martha Jean Messinger and Donald William Saunders Sr. He was a cherished brother to Katrina Zehring, Kristina Waghorn, Mike Saunders, and Cyndi Able. Donald was also a proud grandfather, leaving behind three precious grandchildren. Donald's life was a tapestry of experiences, interests, and a remarkable sense of humor. He found deep satisfaction in the art of scrapping metal, turning wrenches on vehicles, and working on airplanes. His diverse skills earned him the title of a "jack of all trades," as he could master any project he set his mind to.
