Biography Doug M. Spriggle, 68 of Thatcher passed away at his home home on December 13, 2010. Doug was born in Bay City, Wisconsin to Leon & Cordelia Spriggle. After graduating from high school, Doug enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served during the Vietnam Conflict. In 1995, Doug moved to Morenci and worked for Phelps Dodge in Security. He is survived by his daughters Candace Spriggle and Kristen Hernandez and sister Diane Johnson. Doug will be laid to rest in the Michigan Veterans Cemetery.
