Edith Tippets Johnson Together Again Edith Tippets Johnson, age 93, passed away on April 24, 2008. Born November 23, 1914 in Preston, Idaho to Charles and Emma Loughton Tippets. Married Laurance Marin Johnson on July 3, 1936, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Survived by children: Larry (Mary) Johnson, Robert (Sharon) Johnson, Maurine Chesnut, Karen (Vern) Nelson; 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 3, 2008, 1:00 p.m. at the West Jordan City Cemetery, 7800 South 1300 West. There will be a viewing on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
