Edward "Eddie" Escobedo

Edward Escobedo was born in Safford, Arizona on July 9, 1952, to Pedro Escobedo and Brijida Escobedo. He graduated from Safford High School and later joined the U. S. Army.  

On May 28, 1976, he married Josephine Benavidez. Just before his passing they were planning to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Edward worked several years with Phelps Dodge and later retired. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Brijida and his brothers Anthony and Benjamin. He is survived by his sister Geneva Escobedo and Pete Escobedo III. 

Edward was a proud father of three, Michael, Eric and April. He has 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

He will be remembered for his humor and for his dedication to family
