Mira then went to the American Indian Bible College and was working on her Masters Degree at Oral Roberts University. Mira worked at the Housing Authority in San Carlos as a counselor and at the Whiteriver Elementary School. During her ministry she helped out at many local churches in San Carlos, Bylas, Whiteriver and Cibeque. Mira was known for her kindness, loving, caring, and big heart towards people. For the last few years, while living in Whiteriver, she had a radio ministry with her sister Maggie Harrina, which was a benefit to the community. Mira is survived by her brothers; Danfred Hunter, Sr., Sidney Hunter & Franklin Rogers, sisters; Elizabeth Hunter, Althea Hunter, Kystal Hunter, Marlena Dan & Maggie Harrina, her nephews; Danfred Hunter, Jr. & Kaleb Hunter.
