It is with great sadness that the family of Everett Loye Reid, 72 of Pima, Arizona, announce his passing on April 27, 2022. Everett was born on November 8, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas to Everett (Bud) & Wilma Reid. He was the second of nine children.
Everett graduated high in 1968 in Bellflower, California. After high school he worked various jobs until he became a welder in the mining industry. He worked many years in the San Manuel Copper Mine following the shut down of the mine he worked as a truck driver and in pipe fitting. He returned to the Gila Valley in 2015. He enjoyed drawing, riding his motorcycle and watching air planes.
Mr. Reid is preceded in death by his parents Bud & Wilma Reid, his brothers Billy & Paul Reid and his sister Charlene Reid.
Everett is survived by his daughters Denise Reid, Lisa (Rudy) Martinez, Jasper (Sara) Reid, his siblings Ron (JoJo) Reid, Joe (Maria) Reid, John (Maja) Reid, Luke Reid & Darlene (Harold) Smith, along with 8 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022. beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the McDougal's Caldwell Chapel on 112 E Main St., Safford, Arizona. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
