It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George "Jeremy" Bingham, who left this world on June 8, 2025, in a tragic accident in San Diego, California. Jeremy was born on November 8, 1976, in Morenci, Arizona, a place that forever held his beginnings and shaped the man he became.
A proud graduate of Safford High School class of 1995 and a dedicated UPS truck driver, Jeremy navigated life with a smile that could light up the darkest of days. He survived having a broken neck and continued driving semi trucks and was considered a workaholic. His infectious laughter and charming personality brought joy to both the open road he loved and to the friends and family who cherished him. He had an innate ability to connect with others, always sharing positivity and warmth, making anyone feel at ease in his presence. Jeremy always searched out ways to give back to the people of the community he loved but always put his family first.
Jeremy is survived by his loving spouse, Stephanie Bingham, and their precious daughter, Kadie Marie Bingham. In addition, Jeremy took pride in being a father-in-law to Ashlyn Bingham and a grandfather to Carter James Bingham, whose lives he touched profoundly. His parents, Mary & Steve Bingham, remain grateful for the memories they created together, a testament to the bond they shared. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Brandon & Kailee Bingham along with their children Brax, Breven, Breck, and Brener Bingham, and sister Mitzi Bingham.
Though he leaves behind a family who adored him, Jeremy is also preceded in death by his beloved sons: George "Bailey" Bingham, Gavin Michael Bingham, and Ayden Thomas Bingham, as well as his grandparents Rodney & Rita Alder, Billie & George Bingham, and Mark Alder. Their absence remains a heart-wrenching reality in Jeremy's life, but it is clear that the love among them is an unbreakable thread that connects their spirits.
Jeremy’s memorial service will be held at the Eastern Arizona College Football Field in Thatcher, Arizona, on June 14, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM, with the event concluding at 9:30 PM. If you have a cool restored vehicle that you'd like to drive in the procession from the Thatcher Stake Center to the football field please feel free to gather at 7:00 p.m. This gathering stands as a tribute to a man who was not only a devoted family member but also a friend to many, reflecting on the heartwarming memories he gifted to those fortunate enough to know him.
As we remember Jeremy, let us carry forward his legacy of joy and kindness. His life, though cut short, serves as a reminder to appreciate every moment and to share smiles with one another, as he so passionately did.
