Georgeann Alexandra Goodman, a vibrant soul with a big heart, left this world on December 29, 2025, in her beloved hometown of Safford, Arizona. Born on December 8, 1991, she brought joy and light to all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends, who will carry her adventurous spirit and crazy beautiful personality with them.
Georgeann was born to Krista Barnett-Zamora, who preceded her in death. From a young age, she shone brightly at Safford High School, graduating with the Class of 2009. Her zest for life was apparent in everything she did, whether she was working in construction for Freeport McMoRan mine or enjoying the peacefulness of fishing on serene waters. She took immense pride in her children, Braxton, Chaycee, and Krista, whom she adored and raised with unwavering love.
Georgeann is lovingly remembered by her cherished children, who were her proudest accomplishments. Her legacy continues through them, as she instilled values of hard work, compassion, and adventure. She is survived by a devoted family that includes her children Braxton, Chaycee, and Krista Goodman, her brothers Jacob Barnett, Jesse Zamora, and Joe Zamora, her grandfather Howard Barnett, her grandmother Kathy (Ronnie) Glaspie, her step-father Ray Zamora, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Her family tree also includes the loving generations that came before her, including her great-grandparents George and Beatrice Barnett, and Keith and Joann Lemon, all of whom have been welcomed in the warmth of her embrace.
A memorial service to honor Georgeann’s life will be held on January 17, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the McDougal Caldwell Funeral Chapel in Safford, Arizona. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share memories, and celebrate the remarkable life of a woman who truly lived life to the fullest.
As we say our goodbyes, we invite you to remember Georgeann as she was – adventurous, loving, and forever a light in our lives. Though she may have departed from this world, her spirit will remain alive in the hearts of those who loved her.
