Glenda Engrissei

February 12, 1941 — May 26, 2024

Glenda Engrissei, beloved by many, passed away on May 26, 2024 at her home with her daughter at her side. She was born on February 12, 1941 in Metropolis, IL to John Willard Call & Margie Alean Williams Call. She was a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Glenda went on to become a Social Worker ending her career at SEABHS in Safford, AZ.

In the loving memory of Glenda Engrissei, she is survived by her 4 children and 1 grandchild, and many friends who cherished her deeply. She was a kind and generous soul with a wickedly irreverent sense of humor. Her presence brought light and joy into the lives of those around her.

A visitation in her honor will be held at the McDougal Caldwell Funeral Chapel in Safford, AZ located at 112 East Main Street, on June 7, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Her cremains will then be taken to the Portal, NM area for a private Celebration of Life.

As we gather to pay our respects and celebrate the beautiful life of Glenda Engrissei, let us hold dear the memories we shared with her. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing she was loved and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
