Gonzalo "Gus" Sanchez, Jr., 44, of Safford, passed away March 14, 2016 in Safford. He was born December 12, 1971 in Safford to Gonzalo Aguilera & Dominga Mendez Sanchez.Gus attended schools in Safford and worked in construction. He loved fishing, spending time with friends and family, listening to music and working on cars. He was blessed with 2 beautiful daughters, Salina & Alejandra, and a handsome son, Antonio Sanchez.He is survived by his mother, Dominga Sanchez, children; Salina, Antonio & Alejandra Sanchez, siblings; Martin, Teresa, Roberto, Maria Elena (David), Julian, Amalia (Michael) and Balnca (Matt).Gus is preceded in death by his father, Gonzalo Sanchez, Sr. and his sister Felipa Sanchez.A viewing will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. with the Rosary being led at 7:00 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. also at St. Rose of Lima Church.
