Guillermo Gonzales

Guillermo "Billy" Ramirez Gonzales of Solomon entered into rest on December 11, 2021, at the age of 81, with his family by his side. He was born in Solomonville, AZ on April 12, 1940, to his parents Guillermo and Lucia Gonzales. He married the love of his life, Janice, on January 17th, 1976, and made their home in Solomon Arizona, where they raised their family together. Billy worked many years in construction and after his retirement, he worked pridefully as a custodian at the Safford School District. He loved all the staff that he had the opportunity to work with. Billy loved going cruising, fishing, and an occasional cold one. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Billy is survived by his sons Ronnie and Michael, his stepson Jeff, his brothers Angel Gonzales, Bobby Gonzales, his sisters Maria Canalles and Corina Vega. His 2 nieces that he helped to raise were Karen Peru, Roberta Koerber, his Granddaughters, Adamy Holmes and Essence Montoya. He also has many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews that loved him very much. He is preceded in death by both parents Guillermo, and Lucia Gonzales, his stepson Curtis, his beloved wife Janice Gonzales, and his brother Alfredo Gonzales. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with his nephew, Father John Gonzales officiating services. Interment will follow in the Solomon Cemetery. Arrangements are being cared for by McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel located at 112 E.
