Irene Mahoney

Irene Mahoney, 67, of Ft. Thomas, passed away May 8, 2016. She was born January 31, 1949 in Phoenix, AZ to Enrique & Manuela Parra. She worked for Motorola assembling radios but her love was spending time with her children: Julie, Anthony, Antoinette, Dominic, Jesus and Ernest, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her dog "Negro". Irene is survived by her children: Julie Ybarra, Anthony Ybarra, Antoinette Arredondo, Dominic Ybarra and Ernest Valencia, siblings: Rita Sakai, Anna Parra, Raymond Parra, Henry Parra, Ronnie Parra, Johnny Parra and Jimmy Parra, 24 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Manuela Parra, son: Jesus Ybarra, sisters: Lenor and Lupe Parra and granddaughter: Stephanie Ybarra. A viewing for Irene will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at Caldwell Funeral Chapel with the funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery following services.
