Irving Bush, a beloved ranch hand and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at his cherished home in Globe, Arizona. Born on October 31, 1949, in San Carlos, Arizona, Irving lived a life defined by simplicity, hard work, and an unwavering sense of calm.
For over 25 years, Irving dedicated himself to the life of a ranch hand, embracing the rugged yet beautiful landscape that surrounded him. His gentle spirit and disciplined nature made him a respected figure among his peers and a reliable friend to those in his community. While he often preferred the solitude of nature, Irving’s heart was always open to his family, particularly his beloved nieces and nephews, who brought him joy throughout the years.
Irving's quiet demeanor was a reflection of his character; he was known for never becoming angry and always maintaining a calm presence, even in life’s most chaotic moments. He found comfort in the simple pleasures of reading novels by William Johnston and watching western movies, often lost in stories that mirrored the life he so cherished—the rugged adventures, the strong bonds of friendship, and the quiet victories of everyday life.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Armstrong and Grace Bush, and his siblings, Lucille Chimerica, Elving LaGorde, Myra Bush, Lilly Ann Delma Bush, and Ambrose Bush. Their memories will join him in peace, as he carries their love with him into eternity.
Irving’s memory will be honored on January 16, 2026, at a viewing held at the Irving Residence in Bylas, beginning at 5:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at Bylas Miracle Church at 10:00 AM. These gatherings will not only commemorate his life but will also provide a space for family, especially his cherished nieces and nephews, to celebrate the ways he touched their lives.
Though Irving may have shunned the spotlight, his legacy lives on through the hearts of those he touched with his quiet strength and unwavering kindness. As we bid farewell to a true cowboy at heart, we are reminded that it is the gentlest souls who leave the most profound impact on our lives. Irving Bush will be dearly missed but forever cherished in our memories.
