Jaret Elrage

March 3, 1991 — June 9, 2024

“Our beloved Jaret Elrage Hawes (33) tragically left us on June 9, 2024. Loved and missed by long term girlfriend Rianne Whitmire (Kaydence), Mother Roxanne Cobos-Dramse (Don), Dad Mike Hawes (April), Siblings Bhreanna Horton (Tim), Ashley Hawes and Loren Hawes. Grandparents Larry Cobos and Harold Hawes. Along with many Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his Grandmothers Vitalia Cobos, Ila Walsh and Martha Hawes.

Jaret was born in Safford, AZ. and moved to Yuma, AZ. at the age of 3. He graduated from Yuma High School in 2009. After high school Jaret entered The Marine Corp and graduated boot camp from MCRD San Diego, CA. October of 2009. He was a mechanic on amphibian land and water personnel carriers. One of his favorite deployments was at Okinawa Japan which he talked about often. He made many lifelong friends through the Marines and talked about his time there often.

In 2018 Jaret moved back to Safford, AZ. at that time he worked for various contractors until he was hired by FMI in 2021 as a Crush Convey Mechanic. Jaret loved football; The San Diego (LA) Chargers being his favorite team. He enjoyed snowboarding, (no matter how many bones he broke doing it) bowling, gaming, and hunting. Jaret loved Jujitsu… even though he broke more bones than he did snowboarding, as well as eating {almost anything except green beans}. Jaret was a published author, even though few knew.
