Jeffrey Wayne Carpenter 73 of Solomon Arizona was born August 5, 1948 in Safford Arizona. Jeff passed away May 5, 2022. Jeff grew up in Solomon. He attended Solomon Elementary School and went to High School in Safford. He was popular. He was very well liked by his classmates and was President of his senior Class. He recently went to some of the class reunions. He enjoyed catching up with long time friends. Jeff went on a Spanish speaking Mission to Mexico for The Curch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,. Jeff started a Pre-Dental education at EAC. Jeff was Married to Sandy Garcia, they were married for 10 years. They had three daughters together, Kasey, Keri, and Kelley. Jeff met Penny when they both worked at CKC Construction. Later on Jeff would dine in the Sirloin Stockade where Penny was Assistant Manager. Jeff and Penny (Pierson) enjoyed each other’s company for a few years and then we’re married with a small ceremony in Safford. Penny had 2 daughters Starla and Brandice. Jeff and Penny were together over 40 years. Jeff and Penny have lived in Solomon for the last 30 years. Jeff worked for CKC Construction as a Supervisor for 43 Years. He was the first employee that Doyle Cluff hired. Jeff’s first job was digging the footer for the Steak Center. He retired about 9 years ago. Jeff was known best for being a hard worker and a good leader. He knew the value of hard work. He rarely went on vacation. He did get to go on vacation to Lake Tahoe where the TV series Bonanza was filmed. They also made it to Virginia City on that trip. His favorite vacation was when he and Penny took all 5 daughters to Disney Land and Sea World. Most days he went to work by 5 AM and arrived back home between 7 and 8 at night. Many of his co-workers stated that Jeff would outwork anyone on the crew even though he was the supervisor at CKC. He Could operate the equipment too. He drove Road Graders, Loaders, Dump Truck, Back Hoe, Scraper, Bull Dozer, and Asphalt Paver. He liked wearing his hard hat and CKC sweat shirt anything with the CKC logo. Jeff loved to slalom water ski and he loved his boat. Many weekends he would be out on the lake at San Carlos. Jeff spoke Spanish Very well and loved watching Old Western Movies and Tele Novelas. After Jeff Retired he spent most of his time at home and with family. He loved going to visit his brother- in-law Don Spencer who lived just up the road. Jeff is survived by his wife Penny Carpenter, his Sisters Norma Clonts, and Diane Kinght. Brother-in-law John Knight (Diane’s spouse), Penny’s Brothers Alex Pierson & James Pierson, joey Pierson (Joey's spouse) Anida Pierson. Penny’s sisters Alice Minor, Joy Miller, (Joy’s spouse) Tom Miller, Maggie Wattier, (Maggie’s spouse) Ric Wattier, Jodie Urias, (Jodie’s spouse) Erwin Urias, lots of Nieces and Nephews. Daughters Kasey, Keri, Kelley, Starla and Brandice And grandchildren by daughters Children of Kasey Urquidez - spouse - Alberto Urquidez - children Maricela (22) and Antonio (18) Children of Keri Green - Caden Green (15) Children of Kelley Coronado - Diego Coronado (18), Emilio Coronado (16), Leila Coronado (10) Children of Starla Marie Schuh - spouse - Jamie Schuh, Brian Keith Holloway (29), Danika CheyeAnne Holloway (26), KayCee Marie Schuh (21), and Malloree AnnaLise Schuh (15) Children of Brandice Adaline Brown - spouse - Michael Brown, Brighton Timothy Brown (12), Wyatt William Brown (9) being a hard worker and a good leader.
