Jerry Slick

Jerry Slick, a cherished member of the Bylas community, passed away on August 9, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 69. Born on September 16, 1955, in Bylas, Arizona, Jerry lived a life rich in faith, dedication, and love for his family and friends.

He was a proud graduate of Ft Thomas Junior High School, where he laid the foundation for a lifelong journey of learning and growth. Jerry embodied a spirit of kindness and generosity, serving as a grandfather figure to the children in his family. His warm personality and strong religious beliefs were hallmarks of his character, influencing those around him and leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

Jerry had a multitude of interests that made him a well-rounded individual. He enjoyed watching sports, traveling, and indulging in old western TV shows, all of which brought him great joy and provided memorable moments with loved ones.

Jerry is survived by his father, Wanger Slick. He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara King, and his brothers, Terry Buck and Leon King.

A visitation in honor of Jerry will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 3:00 AM until 10:30 AM at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Bylas, Arizona. The funeral service will follow on the same day, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:30 PM. Jerry will be laid to rest in the Navajo Point Cemetery in Bylas, where the burial will commence at 1:00 PM.

His memory will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Jerry Slick will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his unwavering faith and boundless love for family.
