Jesus Alfredo Villalobos

July 22, 1968 — March 15, 2026

Clifton, Arizona

Jesus Alfredo Villalobos, a gentle and kind soul who left a lasting impression on all who knew him, passed away very unexpectedly on March 15, 2026, in Safford, Arizona. Born on July 22, 1968, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Jesus was a man whose life was defined by hard work, unwavering care, and a zest for the simple joys that made each day meaningful.

As a dedicated handyman in the construction industry, Jesus’s willingness to help others at a moment’s notice was legendary among friends and colleagues alike. His gentle nature and sharp sense of humor made him a cherished presence, one who could lighten any room with a joke while offering compassionate support whenever it was needed. He lived to serve his family and community, embodying kindness and generosity in every gesture.

Jesus loved the outdoors, finding peace and joy in camping and fishing, pursuits that he shared often with those closest to him. These moments among nature were not just hobbies but heartfelt connections to the world around him, reflections of his enduring spirit. Above all, time spent with family was his greatest pleasure—each gathering filled with laughter, stories, and love.

He shared a loving and wonderful life with the love of his life, Maria Antunez, to whom he was with for 25 years until her passing. Their partnership was a testament to devotion and mutual respect, a deep bond that shaped Jesus’s identity and the legacy he leaves behind.

Jesus is survived by his devoted step-children Maribel Rivera, Marisol Reyes, John Chacon, Julie Chacon, Elizabeth Vasquez, and Veronica Chacon, who carry forward his memory and his lessons of kindness. His siblings—Lorenzo, Maria Elena, Nieves, Fernando, Esteban, Martin, Gloria, Antonio, and Hugo Villalobos—stand alongside him in spirit, united through their shared roots and cherished memories. His family includes 16 step-grandchildren and an astonishing 21 ½ step great-grandchildren, a reflection of the extensive loving community he helped nurture. Jesus also leaves behind beloved pets, Cash and Baby, companions who brought daily joy to his home.

The heartbeat of Jesus’s life was unwaveringly his family. It was in the warmth of these relationships that he found his proudest accomplishments, and it is in these bonds that his spirit will forever endure.
