Jimmy DeWayne Frost

July 9, 1967 — March 29, 2026

Pima, Arizona

Jimmy Dwayne Frost, born July 9, 1967, in Milledgeville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his residence on March 29, 2026, leaving behind a cherished legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering faith. His departure came far too soon, yet his life was a testament to resilience and heartfelt devotion, embodying the timeless virtues he admired so deeply—much like the steadfast character of Job.

Jimmy's journey was marked by diligent work and profound personal milestones. Beginning his career in the lumber mills of Montana, he later relocated to Arizona in 2011, where he contributed his talents to Vista Recycling. Throughout his working years, Jimmy’s humility and strong work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

A man of rich personality, Jimmy was well-known for treating others with the same kindness and fairness he wished to receive. His spirit was brightened by a delightful sense of humor—always a prankster, he found joy in lighthearted moments and the company of those around him. He held dear simple pleasures such as driving his truck, engaging in farm work, caring deeply for animals, and extending a helping hand to anyone in need.

Among his proudest accomplishments was his spiritual journey: being baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in November 2012, followed by his sealing to the love of his life, Pamela Ruth Whitmer Frost, in the Arizona Gila Valley Temple in 2014. This sacred commitment stood as a cornerstone of his life, symbolizing the profound love and faith that defined him.

Jimmy’s memory will forever be honored by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Pamela Ruth Whitmer Frost; daughters and sons who carry forward his legacy: Brianna Denning (Anthony) Ruiz, Jason (Lainey) Denning, and Allen Denning. He is also survived by his sisters Georgia MacNeil of Littletown, PA,  and Cathy Combs of Leesburg, FL and his brother Timothy Combs of Lake Panasoffkee, FL.  Their lives, enriched by his guidance and love, stand as living testaments to his enduring influence.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Peggy Ellison Cluff, his father James Simon Frost, brother Joseph Frost, and mother-in-law Jesse Whitmer, whose memories he treasured deeply.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pima Stake Center, located at 341 W 450 S, Pima, Arizona 85543. Jimmy Dwayne Frost lived a life rooted in faith, compassion, and joy. His spirit and memories will remain indelible in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. He leaves behind a world made gentler and brighter by his presence. May he rest in eternal peace.
