Joseph Julian Quesada, 59, passed away on September 4, 2026, in Safford, Arizona. He was born in Tucson, Arizona, on March 12, 1967, to the late Susan Navarrette Quesada and Albert R. Quesada.
Joseph is survived by his children, Maria Susana Markwell, Carlos Quesada, and Joseph Quesada; his stepdaughter, Ana-Alicia Moreno; his grandchildren, Emma Eubank, Adrienne Quesada, Jhene Quesada, and Sebastian Quesada; his step-grandchild, Iliana Covarrubias; his son-in-law, Joseph Markwell; his daughter-in-law, Vanessa Quesada; his siblings, Albert Quesada, Daniel Quesada, and Mary Quesada; his sister-in-law, Alma Quesada; his nieces, Andrea Quesada, Dezirae Danielle, and Annette Lusko; his nephew, Christopher; his niece-in-law, Cassandra; his nephew-in-law, Douglas Lusko; his great-nephews, Christopher and Luke; his great-niece, Natalie; and his girlfriend, Jessica Quiroz.
More than anything, Joseph was a man who loved his family deeply. He cherished his parents and shared a close and special bond with them throughout their lives. He was a good son and a loving father with a gentle spirit and a big heart.
Joseph especially treasured the time he spent with his children. He and his daughter, Maria, shared an exceptionally close bond that meant so much to both of them. Their relationship was filled with love, closeness, and memories that Maria will carry with her for the rest of her life.
As a father, Joseph was there when his children needed comfort. He cared for them when they were sick, sat beside them when they were scared, and made sure they knew they were loved. He gave his time freely and created memories that will remain a part of his family's lives forever.
Joseph may not have had much in material things, but he gave his family something far more valuable: his love, his time, his kindness, and a lifetime of cherished memories.
His family will remember him not for what he had, but for the love he gave and the way he made the people closest to him feel. His memory will live on in his children, stepdaughter, grandchildren, step-grandchild, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, siblings, nieces, nephews, and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Joseph will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Beloved Father, Brother, Uncle & Grandfather.
