Joyce Cranford

Joyce Cranford of York Valley passed away in Tucson, AZ on April 19, 2020. She was born on October 23, 1947, in Safford, AZ to parents Howard Calvin Hulsey & Marian Bernice McBride Hulsey. She was raised in Nutrioso, AZ, where she loved Hulsey Lake, the family's irrigation lake which was used for their crops in the Nutrioco valley. Joyce graduated from Morenci High School in 1965 and on October 14, 1966, she married Michael David Cranford. The couple settled in York Valley and were blessed with two sons Clint L. & Tyrel D. Cranford. Joyce was fortunate enough to be able to stay at home and care for her family. She was a big-hearted woman who loved everyone and loved animals, especially her dogs. She was the best mom a son could ask for. She enjoyed Facebook, donut sticks, and diet RC Cola. She was so excited and overjoyed with the births of each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joyce is survived by her sons Clint (Kathleen) Cranford and Tyrel (Tammy) Cranford, her siblings Anita Draper, Irene Daniels, and Steven (Susan) Hulsey, her three grandchildren, and her two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard & Marion Hulsey, her beloved husband Michael David Cranford, and her brother Larry Hulsey. A private family graveside service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020, at the Franklin Cemetery beginning at 10:00 a.m.
