Kate A. Rios

Kate A. Rios, a beloved sister and partner, passed away on December 09, 2025 in Payson, Arizona at the age of 79. She was born October 21, 1946, in Safford, Arizona to John and Dolores Rios, both of whom precede her in death, as well as her siblings, Raymond Rios, Elenor Rios, Kenneth Rios, Priscila Romero, Marty Rios, Bob Rios and Gabriel Rios. 

Kate loved playing softball, fishing, and camping. Her most recent enjoyment was going to the casinos, in Payson, the valley, Laughlin, and Las Vegas.

She graduated from Safford High School in 1965. Soon after her graduation, Kate moved to the Phoenix area where she lived most of her life, moving to Payson in the last few years. 

Kate loved her family and friends, as well as her beloved pets. She is survived by her partner, Judy Campbell, her siblings, Georgia (Manuel) Perea, Johnny (Corina) Rios, Marvin (Claudia) Rios, Diane (Lee) Thomas, Nanci (Fred) Abalos, Berna (Keith) Fabian, Michael Rios and adopted sister Diane Campbell, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Kate's services are scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2025 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Safford, Arizona. Rosary will be held at 2:30 p.m. following with a Mass at 3:00 p.m.
