Obituary

Katherine "Katt" Goseyun, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, in Globe, Arizona. She was born on November 20, 1956, in Gila County, Arizona, and throughout her 69 years, she touched countless lives with her warmth, unwavering loyalty, and generosity.

Katherine, affectionately known as “Katt,” was a true reflection of the traits she valued most: sweet, friendly, caring, and giving. She embraced life fully and was a steadfast source of love and support for her family and friends. Her loyalty and loving nature were evident to all who knew her, and those closest to her cherish memories of her always being present at family gatherings and events, lending her support in both big and small ways.

A proud graduate of Fort Thomas High School, class of 1975, Katt’s thirst for life carried her far beyond her hometown. She loved reading, which nourished her boundless curiosity, and her adventurous spirit led her to travel widely—including memorable journeys to Hawaii and Alaska. She had a fondness for casino hopping, appreciating the fun and camaraderie it brought, as well as the opportunity to meet new people and make lasting memories.

Family meant everything to Katt. She is survived by her daughters, Adrienne Vaughn and Sacheen Logan; her son, Carlos Dan Goseyun Jr.; her sisters, Glenda Mull and Marion Clendon; her brother, Verdell Harvey; five adored grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren—she considered their births among her proudest accomplishments, often raising them with a love so profound that her favorite saying was, “I love you. No one loves you more than your mother.”

Katt’s home was a place of laughter and warmth, not only for her family but for her beloved five cats, whose playful antics she adored. She was also a person of endearing expressions, known to say, “I love you to the Moon and back!” and “I love you more!”—words her family will forever hold close to their hearts. Friends and family alike remember her as the true Scorpio she was: strong-willed, passionate, and fiercely loyal.

In addition to her many roles and relationships, Katt experienced the loss of her daughter, Winter Goseyun, whose memory she carried tenderly every day.

Katherine “Katt” Goseyun’s beautiful legacy will continue in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her. Her compassion, humor, and vibrant personality will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Services in honor of Katt’s life will be held at Bylas Assembly of God Church, located on Highway 70 in Bylas, Arizona. A viewing will take place on July 25, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Family, friends, and all who knew her are invited to attend and celebrate her remarkable life.
