Kathy Cervantez

Kathy L. Sanchez Cervantez, 72, of Safford, entered into eternal rest on August 8, 2020, at home with family. Kathy was born in Safford, AZ to her loving mother Maria Sanchez & Telesforo Sanchez. She was the youngest of many siblings. She attended Safford High School and met and married Benny Cervantez in 1966. They had two daughters Tammy Padilla (Memo), and Maria Gore (Eric). She was a life-long resident of Graham County where she had many friends and family. Her passions were love for the Lord, cooking, and spending time with family. Kathy is survived by her brother Pete Sanchez and her sister Tilly Ruiz. She had six grandchildren Aaron Campos (Ericka), Sabrina Dixson (Tim), Jacob Cervantez, and Tevin Aranda. She also has five great-grandchildren Eric, Aaron, McKayden, Bennito, and Augustine. She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, and two grandchildren Eric Manuel Campos and Damian Aranda, Jr. Funeral services for Kathy L. Sanchez will be held at McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel on Monday, August 17th with viewing at 8:00 a.m. and the funeral service at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Safford Cemetery. Flowers are greatly appreciated.
