Obituary

Kenneth Eugene Butler, affectionately known as “KB,” passed away very unexpectedly on October 7, 2026, in Sahuarita, Arizona. He was born on December 10, 1973, in Safford, Arizona. His sudden passing leaves behind deep sorrow in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Kenneth will be remembered as a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence was an important part of his family’s life. The love he shared with those closest to him will continue to be carried forward in the memories they hold and in the bond of family that remains.

He was quiet but outgoing, he lived for the moment and was loving, caring, respectful, kind, considerate, had a great work ethic, and was an inspiration/role model to others. He was also very fearless and didn't care about what others' opinions of him were.

KB loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, golfing, off roading, traveling, riding his motorcycle, being outdoors, and always working on something. His favorite saying was "The world doesn't stop because it's hot outside."

He is survived by his son, Kenneth (Serena) Butler III, and by his daughter, Kristi Butler. He also leaves behind his parents, Kenneth Dwayne Butler and Peggy Butler. Kenneth’s love extends through the next generation in his three cherished grandchildren, Braeleigha, Ariya, and Aubriella.

He is also survived by his sisters, Lana Sabri Aloui, Tammy (Mike) Mortensen, Lori (Robbie) Calhoun, and Erin (Ben) Switzer, as well as by his brothers, Shawn Butler and Boyce Butler. Together, they mourn his loss and hold close the many memories they shared with him over the years.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Trammell, and by Donato Delgado- his father figure, and by his grandparents. Their memories remained a meaningful part of his life, and now they are remembered alongside him with love.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on October 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at McDougal Caldwell Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 10:00 a.m.

Kenneth Eugene Butler will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him and peace to those who loved him most.
