Lessie Cooper

Lessie B. Cooper was born on January 13, 1921, in Stonewall, LA to her mother, Peggy Pouncy and her father, Ed Hines. She is survived by her daughters Lessie Turner "Sista", Peggy Jean Andrews "Jean", Lillie Hawthorne "Tootsie", Gail Ellis "Red", & Eula Webb "Peewee". Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive her. She loved making quilts, cooking biscuits, jams, cinnamon rolls, animals, and cooking. She loved to laugh and she welcomed everyone into her home. She is with the lord and he has taken her home on August 27, 2016 for eternal rest. A viewing will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the New Life City Church with the funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Safford Cemetery.
