Lillie A. Good

Lillie Anne Good, a cherished wife, devoted mother, and beloved grandmother, gracefully journeyed from this world on April 30, 2025, at her home in Thatcher, Arizona, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Born on March 12, 1944, in Safford, Arizona, Lillie lived a long and joyful life filled with love, laughter, and memories that will forever be treasured by those she touched.

In the tapestry of her life, Lillie’s marriage to James T. Good on October 12, 1963, in Safford was a particularly vibrant thread. Together, they embraced life on the farm, sharing not only the hard work of ranching but also the joy of nurturing their family and animals. Lillie was an amazing wife, always supporting James and creating a warm home filled with love and kindness. Her spirit shone brightly, especially when she was singing and dancing in the kitchen, preparing meals for her loved ones. She had an unparalleled gift of making every gathering special and memorable.

Lillie's legacy lives on through her loving family, including her sons, Reuben Good and Jesse Good, who carry forward the values she instilled in them. Her grandsons, Shane Hootman and Sean Hootman, Jesse Good Jr. and her granddaughter, Jazmin Good, will hold on to the lovely memories of their grandmother and continue her legacy of compassion and joy. Lillie was also a proud great-grandmother to four wonderful great-grandchildren: Jaxson, Mila, Dezrin, and Gypsy, who were her delight and brought endless joy to her life.

Her devotion to her family, her love of farming, and her affectionate nature toward her animals were the hallmarks of her personality. Lillie’s joyful laughter will echo in the hearts of all who knew her, and her spirit will forever illuminate the paths of those who were blessed to call her family and friend.

Lillie is now laid to rest beside her beloved husband, James T. Good, in Graham Cemetery, where friends and family will gather for a graveside service on May 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Though she may no longer walk among us, her legacy of love, joy, and family bonds will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to share their lives with her. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
