Linda Wright

Linda Casoose Wright was born September 23, 1934 in Bylas, AZ to Ralph Casoose and Marie Bailey and passed on October 19, 2022 at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, AZ with her loving family by her side. In her early childhood she lived in Peridot (Chinatown) and attended school at Rice which is now known as San Carlos. Upon the death of her mom, she moved back to Bylas along with her siblings. When she was about 16 years old she was given by her family to Andy Wright who became her husband as that is how it was done back in the earlier years of the Apaches. Together they had 6 children, took in her younger siblings as they had no one to raise them and several years later they took in a couple nephews. Linda was a very compassionate and caring lady who welcomed and fed anyone that came to their home. She was a member of the 1 st Miracle Church for many years and the last few years of her life was spent at Heritage Health Care Center. The majority of her life she was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking 3 meals a day. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Ralph & Marie, husband Andy Wright, children Lorena W. Williams, Manual Wright Sr., Beverly Cosay, and Yolanda Longstreet, siblings Roger Casoose, Gilmore Casoose, Rita C. Combs, Wilkie Casoose Clarissa C. Dosela and Baby Boy Casoose. She’s survived by children Danford (Opal) Wright, Terold (Franda) Wright, Verdell Harvey all of Bylas and Aaron Dosela of Peridot, siblings Lester Casoose of Eager, AZ, Serena Pina of Cibecue AZ, Alden Casoose of San Francisco CA, Joanna Aragon of Kinnear WY Iris Castillo of Payson AZ , 27 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren.
