Marcus Randy Kindelay

October 11, 1973 — February 16, 2026

Bylas, Arizona

Marcus Randy Kindelay, born on October 11, 1973, in San Carlos, Arizona, left this world unexpectedly on February 16, 2026, while at his home in Bylas, Arizona. He was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, and friend, whose generous spirit and infectious laughter brightened the lives of those around him.

As a grounds keeper, Marcus took great pride in his work, but his true fulfillment came from his adored family. He married his beloved wife, Janine Sanchez, in August 2018, and together, they created a life filled with love and joy. He was a proud father to his three sons, Marcus Kindelay, Jr. (Octiva Duncan), Randy (Gloria) Kindelay, and Calvin Kindelay, and to his cherished daughter, Desiree Kindelay. The joys of fatherhood extended into his heart, as he reveled in every moment spent with his five beloved grandchildren, each of whom he embraced with equal adoration.

Marcus's personality was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of humor, kindness, and devotion. He was known for his big smile and playful nature, responding to the world around him with a witty remark or a joke that would light up any room. Devoted to his faith, Marcus often reminded others to “always pray, keep God first,” embodying the teachings of prayer from Thessalonians 5:17, “Pray without ceasing.” His dedication extended beyond himself, as he frequently prayed for the well-being of others, a testament to his generous and caring heart.

A proud graduate of San Carlos High School in 1992, Marcus carried the values learned there throughout his life. He found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing, hunting, and archery, which allowed him to bond with family and friends outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Janine Sanchez; children, Desiree, Marcus, Randy, and Calvin; his father, Rankin Kindelay, Sr.; siblings, McLuther, Calvina, Monica, Rankin, Jr., and Marissa; as well as his sister Randelma and his cherished pets, Garbie, Lovey Dovey, and Killie. Their lives are forever changed by the gentle spirit and humorous presence he shared with them.

In his absence, he joins his mother, Margie Cobb Kindelay, who has passed on, leaving a void in the hearts of many. As family and friends gather to honor his memory, they will forever hold close the laughter, love, and lessons he imparted during their time together.

Marcus Randy Kindelay's wake will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Rankin Kindelay, Sr.'s home in Bylas, AZ. A funeral service will follow on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Bylas Miracle Church, with a burial service taking place in the Middle Mesa Cemetery at 12:00 PM the same day.
