Marinda Anthony

Marinda Gail Anthony of Morenci passed away in Safford on April 25, 2021, at the age of 68. She was born on March 27, 1953, in Casa Grande, Arizona to R.V. Voss & Ida Mae Mueller Voss joining siblings Richard, Sharon, & Gary Wayne. Marinda attended schools in the Casa Grande area, ending up in Eloy at Santa Cruz High School. In 1968, Marinda married Johnny Anthony in Eloy, Arizona and they were blessed with six children; John Jr., David L., Stacy, Amanda, Adam, and Ruthanne. Marinda enjoyed baking, making cross-stitch blankets for friends and family, and having family over for BBQ. She was known for telling jokes and was very witty. She was also very kind and respectful of others and just as sweet as she could be. Her favorite saying was, "If it wasn't for bad luck you wouldn't have any luck at all!" Marinda was the greatest Mother and Grandmother ever!! She was preceded in death by her parents R.V. & Ida Mae Voss, and her siblings Gary Wayne Voss & Sharon Canamore. She is survived by her loving husband Johnny Anthony, by her children John Jr., David L., Stacy, Amanda. Adam, and Ruthanne Anthony, and Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren; Rebecca Anthony, Brooklyn Anthony, Kalee Anthony, Joshua Whittington, Elissa Oliver, Eliott Oliver, and Michael Anthony, and by her brother Richard Voss.
