Gone too soon, Riana Nicole Gonzales of Safford unexpectedly passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 34. Riana was born on October 5, 1987, in Safford, Arizona to Fernando M Gonzales & Clotilda Pena Rios Gonzales.
Riana was a loving and adventurous person, who loved owls, cracking jokes & making people laugh, she was always listening to music. She loved going to concerts. She enjoyed drawing, taking pictures, fishing but most of all being with her family making memories.
Her life was filled with many memorable events. Riana's adventures included skydiving, the love of hot air balloons, and writing poetry about the world around her. She engaged her artistic side as well as her love for quotes.... Some of her favorite quotes were "stay gold" "be an original" "Be real, be loving" "Be humble, stay true, stay real" Riana's all-time favorite quote was "Your true self is what someone will love & if they don't then to heck with them".
Riana graduated high school in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2013.
On April 15, 2021, Riana married the love of her life, Kylee Taitano. Their marriage blessed them with three wonderful children; Chandler, Macy, and Jayden.
Riana is survived by her loving wife, Kylee Gonzales, and their three children. Her parents are Tillie & Fernando Gonzales and Sandra Gonzales. Siblings Fernando Gonzales Jr., Donna Mendoza, Jody Luna, and Sarah Rivas as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Riana will be deeply missed by all who knew her and love her.
A Viewing will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 12:00 until 1:30 p.m. followed by the Recitation of the Rosary, and a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the McDougal's Caldwell Funeral Chapel.
