Richard E. Wicklund 1934 ~ 2010 Richard E. Wicklund, age 76, passed away January 26, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born January 15, 1934 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Ernest William and Mary Frances Schnorf Wicklund. Married Alena Lee M. Stanley February 5, 1956 in Elko, Nevada. Served in the US Navy as a Boatswain Mate Chief. Survived by his wife, Lee; sons, Buck (Monica), Mike (Diane), Eric (Denise); daughter, Cassy (Paula) Wicklund; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, February 1, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the Cottonwood Creek Stake Center, 1535 East Creek Road, Sandy, UT. A viewing will be held Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 10-10:40 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
