Ronald Chesnut

Ronald H. Chesnut 1937 ~ 2008 Ronald Hugh Chesnut passed away February 16, 2008 of COPD. Born July 11, 1937 in Richfield, Utah to George Hugh and Orlene Delilah Zabriskie Chesnut. Ron owned and operated R & M Pools and Tile for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and Dutch oven cooking. He served his country in the US Army. He married Emma Smith in 1953; later divorced. Married DeeAnnA Squires in 1958; later divorced. Married Maurine Johnson August 29, 1964. Survived by his wife, Maurine; children: Elmer (Dianne), Ronda (Gary) Hill, Todd (Lanita), Susan; sisters: Aletta (Terry) Sorensen, Madaline (James) Morris; brother, Sherrill; mother-in-law, Edith Johnson; 29 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Kip; son, Ronald Clay; father-in-law, Marin Johnson. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff in the MICU and SICU, at the Veterans Hospital, for their care of and kindness to Ron. A viewing will be held Saturday, February 23, 2008, 4-6:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.
