Ryland Alexander Crank, a bright light in the lives of those who knew him, was born on April 1, 2019, in Gilbert, Arizona. He radiated happiness with his fun-loving spirit and infectious smile, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of his family and friends. Tragically, Ryland’s journey was cut short on June 14, 2025, when he passed away in Safford, Arizona, due to a heartbreaking accident.
From his earliest days, Ryland filled his family’s lives with joy and laughter. He was a true delight, famously known for his boundless energy and curiosity. He adored spending time at his grandmother's house, creating loads of fun memories that will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. Ryland had a unique way of expressing his affection, always saying “I love you” with sincerity and often following up with a playful “why?” that showcased his inquisitive nature.
Ryland's interests were as vibrant as his personality. He loved the color red and was fascinated by monster trucks, often signaling to those around him that adventures with these powerful vehicles were never too far from his thoughts. Amidst his many joys, he found solace and creativity in building with Lego blocks, crafting worlds from his imagination, and sharing these creations with his brothers.
He was especially close to his big brother, Jayson, as well as his brothers Malachi and Jarred. The bond between the siblings was palpable, filled with laughter, competition, and the innocence that only childhood can bring. Ryland also cherished the company of his pets, Preshus, Rem, and Bomber, who were always there to share in his playful moments.
Ryland is survived by his loving parents, Stephanie Kaye Reber and Christifer Shaun Crank, who will forever carry the warmth of his hugs in their hearts. His brothers, Jayson, Malachi, and Jarred, will continue to cherish the memories of their time together. Ryland is also survived by his beloved grandmother, Andalea Perry, as well as his grandfathers, Eddie Crank and Larry Jergins, and grandmother, Nanette Jergins, along with many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins who were all enriched by his joyful spirit.
Though Ryland’s time with us was far too brief, the love he gave will shine on, reminding us all to cherish every moment and to spread joy wherever we go. His laughter and love will be forever remembered and held close by all whose lives he touched. Rest well, dear Ryland; you are deeply missed and will always be loved.
