Sandra Fay Klajda, was born on February 18, 1957, in Arlington, California, and she suddenly passed away on April 29, 2026, in Pima, Arizona. A devoted homemaker, Sandra’s life was a vibrant tapestry woven with love, family, and an indomitable spirit that left an unforgettable mark on all who knew her.
Sandra was a woman who embodied joy and passion—always happy, spicy, and sassy, with a “spit of fire” spirit that was as wild as it was caring and loving. She possessed a unique blend of warmth and vivacity, a personality that radiated brightness and comfort alike. Those who spent time with Sandra would remember her as a shining beacon of love and strength, a woman who treasured her family above all.
She earned her GED from Safford, Arizona, and dedicated much of her life to nurturing her home and loved ones. Among Sandra’s cherished pastimes were crafting and spending quiet moments tending to her yard, activities that allowed her creativity and loving nature to flourish.
Sandra’s proudest accomplishments were deeply rooted in her family. She married the love of her life, Bruce Klajda, on June 1, 1974, in Pima, Arizona—a partnership that brought her profound joy and fulfillment. Together, they raised three sons: Bruce (Stacie) Klajda Jr., Jason (Jessica) Klajda, and Steven (Jennifer) Klajda. Their shared legacy extends to six grandchildren, Kaden (Geo) Ramirez, Kamryn (Alex) Sanchez, Steven Klajda Jr., Jonivan (Joslyn) Klajda, Jasper Klajda, James Klajda, and two great-grandchildren Izayah Ramirez & Zenik Ramirez, all of whom remain a living testament to Sandra’s love and devotion.
Sandra also treasured her siblings who survive her: Sharon (Tommy) Whitmire, Emery Hale, Shelia Sawyer (Bud), Lisa (Vince) Kieffer, and Karole Ward. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Emery and Evia Hale, and her sister Karen Hale.
Her family was, in every sense, her greatest accomplishment and the center of her universe. Sandra’s home was always filled with the warmth of her love, her spice, and her endlessly caring heart.
