Sharolyn Sue Roberts, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, at the age of 70. Born on March 18, 1955, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, she touched the lives of many with her outgoing spirit, humor, and genuine kindness.
A graduate of Cobre High School, Class of 1973, Sharolyn embraced life with a passion that was reflected in her successful career as a nail technician, where she made countless friends, enriching their lives with laughter and warmth. Her vibrant personality drew people to her, making her not just a technician, but a friend and confidante to those she served.
Sharolyn found joy in various hobbies; she loved immersing herself in painting, working on challenging puzzles, and collecting antiques, which spoke to her appreciation for beauty and history. She cherished the outdoors, often spending time enjoying nature, a testament to her vivacious spirit and love for exploration.
Among her proudest accomplishments was her son, Cody (Nancy) Roberts, who she adored immensely. The joys of motherhood blossomed even further as she welcomed grandchildren, Tra and Adam Roberts, along with great-grandchildren Isabelle and Sasha Roberts. Each generational bond filled her heart with profound pride and love, and she relished every moment spent with them.
Sharolyn's heart forever carried the love she shared with her husband, Gary Lee Roberts, whom she married on October 25, 1974, in Southport, North Carolina. Their union was a beautiful testament to love, and though he has preceded her in death, his memory lives on in the stories and love they shared.
She is also survived by her brother, Rick Oberg, who, alongside her family, will forever treasure the memories of her laughter and caring nature. Sharolyn is reunited in peace with her dearly departed parents, Carl B. Oberg and Jerry Rae Oberg, and her everlasting love, Gary.
Sharolyn Sue Roberts leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories that will endure in the hearts of her family and friends. Her life was a celebration of relationships, filled with the love she so generously gave, and she will be deeply missed.
